About

Passion. Experience. Diligence.

History

Jeremy Pratt and Ellen Simmons met in law school & formed their law firm a few years after graduation. Jeremy focused on trial practice and Ellen specialized in appeals & legal research. We found that their individual fields complemented each other’s in surprising, and what turned out to be inseparable, ways. This made them eager to create a firm, one that would effectively connect their expertise. Choosing to specialize in a field means that you are completely devoted to it; that you will be up to date and informed on all developments. That is the knowledge that sets them apart.

Pratt & Simmons opened its doors in 2008. Since then, they've represented more than a thousand individuals. They handle cases through in Maine in all state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels.
